Situated on the corner of 3rd Avenue and Wood Street, in the heart of downtown Whitehorse, Coasters Bistro offers something for everyone. Manager and Head Chef, Jeffrey Eley has used his nearly 20 straight years of experience in the restaurant industry to create an eclectic menu featuring an array of dishes from Thai cuisine to wild meat delicacies. Coasters Bistro offers a cozy dining room during the winter months, and come spring/summer you may find yourself on the patio enjoying the afternoon live music from across the street in LePage Park.
Since its opening in April of 2007 Coasters Bar has been a hub for live entertainment in the Yukon's capital. Bands, DJ's, Comedians and Burlesque dancers from across North America and the UK have graced our stage. Coasters truly offers the most varied entertainment bill in the Yukon; since the August of '07, no performance has shown for two consecutive weekends.
The Capital Hotel is one of Yukon's oldest and most treasured watering holes. With a long overdue renovation The Capital will be Yukon's very first brew-pub. Now our favourite watering hole will be producing its own draught beer while also serving beers from Yukon Brewing and a few foreign favourites. Not a beer drinker? Don't worry; our selection of fine wines, scotch whiskies, bourbons, sherries and ports will be sure to please even the most discerning of connoisseurs. For your true Yukon experience be sure to visit us at The Capital.
